Server Outage and Upgrade

Happy New Year!
We upgraded our server back around 2017 so it is about 9 years old now! One year is about ten computer years, so it is old! However, the computer itself is still running fine. The drives were having trouble. I've also been a little lazy and have not kept it upgrade software-wise, so when decided to take it down for the drive update, I was going to update the OS (moving from Ubuntu to Debian) and some of the other components (mailing list server, SQL server, etc.). Well, just like working on an old house, once you start taking things apart, you sometimes realize the job is going to be bigger than you think. That was indeed the case!
So I'm working on getting everything put back together. "Sorry for all the mess while we improve the place." 😊 I hope to start sending funnies again on or around January 26, 2026. We might send a test message or two also. Thanks for your understanding!
